That the Council awards a contract to Altair Consultancy and Advisory Services Limited to provide inspection support for the Housing Landlord Service at contract value of £19,417.

Following the receival of three written quotes (which is fully compliant with UK procurement rules). All quotes and proposals were evaluated independently by two officers.
Following the evaluation process, the quote and proposal submitted by Altair Consultancy and Advisory Services Limited was the preferred supplier based on cost and expertise provided.
Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - Do nothing. This piece of work is considered to benefit the Council in meeting regulatory standards set by the Regulator of Social Housing. Option not recommended.
Option 2 - Award the contract to an alternative supplier. This is not considered to be appropriate because, following the evaluation process, Altair Consultancy and Advisory Services Limited provided the most competitive quote based on level of specialist expertise supplied. Option not recommended.
