This decision is to award a contract to
Waric’s Property Maintenance Contractors, a local
Lincolnshire Contractor for all of the capital works specified
within the competitive tender process. The total contract award is
for £42,778.00 plus VAT The contracted works include; the
creation of new welfare facilities for female staff and visitors,
plus refurbished male facilities, the upgrade end of life toilets
and the necessary comparable facilities.
This decision is required to appoint the
contractor to effect the specified works that have been
competitively tendered.
This project will be carried out under one phase, which will see
extensive modern refurbishment of the welfare facilities to West
Marsh Road depot. The contract will deliver additional facilities
for our female staff and visitors, Located on the ground floor of
the main building.
This is a single contract via a capital cost of £42,778.00
plus VAT, coming from the Councils approved capital
programme.
Option 1 - Do nothing - Not recommended as
these works form part of a wider programme of strategic investment
into key Council Assets across the district. – NOT
RECOMMENDED.
