Following a full procurement exercise, Ark Property Centre will be appointed as the managing agent for Welland Homes’ stock. The procurement exercise was based on a 70/30 split of quality (70%) and cost (30%). To establish quality, bidders were asked to summarise and evidence their experience of managing stock, minimising voids, providing excellent customer service and supporting the company to grow.

Ark Property Centre’s bid complied with the specification and was the highest scoring submission. In accordance with public procurement rules the contract should be awarded to them.

In this event, a further procurement exercise would be undertaken to identify a suitable managing agent.
