Following a tender process the decision is to
award a contract to Openview. The contract is for the replacement
of 49 Fire door sets across the District in Community centres,
HMO's and some flat entrance doors at Lansdowne Court and the
Square as per the attached list.
Openview provided a high quality tender return
in their quality responses and also had the best price so in all
they were the best value for money response received.
Do nothing was considered a non starter as it
leaves the property unsafe for the occupants, there were a total of
18 tenders received and all were looked at in the same manner and
not consider as good an offer overall.
