To sign as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 25 July 2018 (copy enclosed).

Minutes:

The Committee considered the minutes of the meeting held on 25 July 2018.

The Chairman commented that, following consideration of application number H16-1217-17 at the last meeting of the Planning Committee, where Springfields had put forward objections, a letter had been received from the Chief Executive of Springfields Horticultural Society.  He had raised concerns that there was a misunderstanding of the relationship between the Horticultural Society and the retail outlet at Springfields, and invited members to meet with the Horticultural Society in order to get a clearer idea of what they did.  The Planning Committee agreed that the invitation should be open to all Members of the Council, that the Horticultural Society be advised of this and that a meeting be arranged following the District Council elections in May 2019.

DECISION:

The minutes were signed by the Chairman as a correct record.
