12.	Apologies for absence. Minutes: Apologies were received from Councillor King.
13.	Declarations of Interest Where a Councillor has a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest the Councillor must declare the interest to the meeting and leave the room without participating in any discussion or making a statement on the item, except where a Councillor is permitted to remain ad a result of a grant of dispensation. Minutes: There were none.
14.	Minutes PDF 133 KB To sign as a correct record the minutes of the meeting(s) held on: Minutes: Consideration was given to the minutes of the meeting of the Licensing Committee held on 13 February 2020. AGREED: That the minutes be signed as a correct record.
15.	Licensing Update Licensing and Business Support Manager and Licensing Team Leader to be in attendance to provide a verbal update on the functions that fall under the remit of the Licensing Committee. Minutes: The Licensing and Business Support Manager and Licensing Team Leader updated the Committee on new statutory Taxi and Private Hire vehicle standards for authorities to implement. The draft Taxi and License Policy was due to go out to consultation but this was put on hold due to Covid-19. The new National standards would now be incorporated into the draft policy. Members were informed that Licensing authorities were expected to implement the new standards which would improve consistency in the Licensing system amongst all Councils. The aim of this would be to reduce the risk of harm to children and all vulnerable passengers. The Licensing Team Leader also informed the Committee of mandatory training for Members who determine such licenses as required. This training would be required in child sex abuse and exploitation and natural justice. Further information was to be given when this would be required.
