Councillor N Worth was elected as Chairman for the duration of the meeting.

Apologies for absence were received from Councillor P Barnes, and Councillor James Le Sage attended as his substitute.

There were none.

To consider resolving that, under section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

Consideration was given to the report of the Director of Communities to consider the permanent appointment to the position of Assistant Director – Housing.

Decision:

That the recommendations outlined within the exempt report be approved.
