Nominations were requested for the role of Chairman.

Decision:

That Councillor CN Worth be elected Chairman for the duration of the meeting.

No apologies for absence were received.

There were no declarations of interest.

To consider resolving that, under section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

Decision:

Under Section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public were excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

To consider the permanent appointment to the position of Service Director - Finance, Deputy Section 151 Officer (report of the Executive Director – Finance, Section 151 Officer enclosed). 

Consideration was given to the report of the Executive Director – Finance (S151 Officer) to consider the permanent appointment to the position of Service Director – Finance (Deputy S151 Officer).

Decision:

That the recommendations outlined within the exempt report be approved.
