To appoint to the Pre-application Consultation Group for the period 2019-2023

Decision:

a)    That the Pre-application Consultation Group be re-established for the period 2019-2023 without amendment to its terms of reference and that the Group be politically balanced; 

 

b)    That appointments be in accordance with the wishes of Group Leaders and notified to the Executive Manager for Governance; and

 

c)    That substitutions be permitted where members form part of a political group, subject to (i) substitutions applying for individual meetings only and (ii) the group leader or nominated representative submitting details to the Executive Manager Governance by noon on the day of the meeting or at least 3 hours before the meeting, whichever is the sooner.

07/06/2019 - Designated Councillor Budgets ref: 617    Recommendations Approved

To consider spending options for Councillor Designated Budgets

Effective from: 15/06/2019

Decision:

1.    That, in accordance with the budget previously approved by the Council, ward members be authorised to award grants to support their local communities, to a maximum of £12,000 for their four year term;

 

2.    That spend against the budget can take place until 1 March 2023;

 

3.    That the maximum spend in the financial year preceding the district council elections (2022/23) is capped at £5,000;

 

4.    That any budgets that are not spent will be returned to the Council Tax Reserve; and

 

5.    That delegated authority be given to the Executive Manager for Governance, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Governance and Customer, to update guidance and procedures as and when required.

04/06/2019 - Replacement Flat Fire doors at Lansdown Court ref: 616    Recommendations Approved

Issuing of works to CLC Contractor via the Fusion 21 Frame Work to replace the flat front entrance doors to a FD60 standard. The doors will hold the adequate certification for compliance the and will have third party certification.

That the Council awards a contract to CLC Contractors Ltd for an estimated contract value of £75,000 for the replacement of the flat entrance doors at Lansdowne Court.
