Option to lease Nene House to Care Organisation

Decision:

1)    That the office accommodation is leased to the care agency provider to allow them to operate from Spalding.

 

2)    That the lease is on a 5 year term (with relevant break clauses), and operate as a holding position for SHDC whilst a wider review of operational assets is undertaken.

 

3)    That delegated authority is given to the Assets Project Officer to negotiate and conclude terms for the letting of the office space based on target rent of between £5-5.5k per year for a 5 year term.

To consider an award of contract for the operation and management of the Castle Sports Complex, Spalding and Peele Leisure Centre, Long Sutton

Effective from: 29/11/2018

Decision:

1.    That the leisure management contract for the Castle Sports Complex, Spalding and Peele Leisure Centre, Long Sutton be awarded to the preferred supplier identified in the report;

 

2.    That the contract be for a period of five years from 1 March 2019 and that the Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Communities and Facilities, be given delegated authority to determine whether or not to extend the contract by two years at the end of the initial five year term;

 

3.    That the Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Communities and Facilities, be given delegated authority to agree final contract terms and to sign the contract in due course;

 

4.    That the Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Communities and Facilities, be given delegated authority to complete any associated actions necessary to enable the new contract to complete and the end of the current contract to be properly managed including, but not limited to, settling the terms of and completing any associated leases and the Tripartite Agreement with the Lincolnshire County Council and the Peele School.

 

5.    That up to £60,000 is made available from the Investment and Growth Reserve to fund works that are required during the mobilisation of the new contractual arrangements.
