Cabinet and responsibilities

 

The Cabinet is the principal decision making body of the Council. The Leader of the Council is Chairman of the Cabinet.

 

The Cabinet is made up of the Leader of Council and seven Cabinet Members, each with a specific area of responsibility (called a 'Portfolio').

 

Cllr Nick Worth (Conservative. Holbeach Hurn) – Leader of the Council; Partnerships

Cllr Paul Redgate (Conservative. Whaplode and Holbeach St Johns) – Deputy Leader of the Council; Finance

Cllr Tracey Carter (Conservative. Holbeach Town) – Strategic and Operational Housing

Cllr Anthony Casson (Conservative. Moulton, Weston and Cowbit) – Public Protection

Cllr Gary Taylor (Conservative. Spalding Castle) – Community Development

 

Responsibilities: Leisure Centre Delivery; Spalding Town Improvements; South Holland Maintenance; Community Development; District Events; Community Assets Register; and Community Cohesion and Support.
